This text describes 802.11g WLAN technology.

802.11g WLAN is a wireless networking technology that operates in the 2.4GHz frequency band, providing high-speed data transmission over short distances. It was introduced in 2003 as an improvement upon the previous standard of 802.11b WLAN.

With a data transfer rate of up to 54 Mbps, 802.11g WLAN offers faster transmission than its predecessor, as well as improved security features such as WEP and WPA encryption. It is compatible with older 802.11b devices and can coexist with them on the same network.

802.11g WLAN utilizes Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technology to improve network performance and mitigate interference. Its range is limited to approximately 100-150 feet indoors, although this can be extended by using additional access points.

802.11g WLAN provides reliable and fast wireless connectivity for home and small office networks.
